Coming Home.... Back to my home town...

I was lucky enough to get myself an

ETSY Treasury.

I am feeling very nostalgic as I just returned

home from a trip to my home town in Saskatchewan.

The air and sky is different in Saskatchewan,

it feels higher there for some reason.

The only thing I can say is I don't miss the

90 mile an hour wind that whips across the prairie!

It is so beautiful there..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA

This weeks Nostalgia was prompted by the Movie "Stand By Me"

What a GOOD Movie!!

I recall as a kid not fearing the train tracks at all..

as a matter of fact, they were very access able and a group of us

would frequently go to them to

squish pennies!

Now many many moons later,

the thought of a train

barreling along gives me a huge fright!

But I do miss the late night whistles that

bring me straight back to child hood.
