Halloween is around the bend... What scares you??

As Halloween creeps closer I do enjoy watching creepy, scary movies...

I think my all time creep-out is still The Exorcist
especially the scene that was cut out.. the spiderwalk scene
YAK.....
Talk about scary!!!

The creepiest guy to me is Nosferatu..
GULP..
This guy is C~R~E~E~P~Y
I like the OLD VERSION

As for what gets my heart jumping out of my skin...
I discovered the scariest feeling in the world to me is not a creepy
monster..
it is a Via Train!!
I was standing at the GO waiting to catch the train by myself
for the first time...
Unannounced to me the Via train rushes through the station..
SOOOOO CLOSE>>>SOOOO FAST>>>
I grabbed the fence behind me...
YIKES...
This isn't the train..but the sensation is the same...

Oh and who can forget BUGS...
Now if they made an Exorcist movie with Nosforatu on a train platform with bugs all over it...
I'm done.....

This weeks Nostalgia was prompted by the Movie "Stand By Me"

What a GOOD Movie!!

I recall as a kid not fearing the train tracks at all..
as a matter of fact, they were very access able and a group of us
would frequently go to them to

Now many many moons later,
the thought of a train
barreling along gives me a huge fright!
But I do miss the late night whistles that
bring me straight back to child hood.

Turned ON to Turner Classics!!!!

Early Morning Confessions...

no.... that's not the name of a Turner Classic Movie..
I have this early morning addiction to
Edward G. Robinson, Joan Crawford,
James Stewart, Katherine Hepburn..
I am an early morning riser and staring my day with a
cup of Mother Earth Essentials "Healing Blend"
Tea along with a Classic Movie...
it starts the day out Just right!!

I adored Edward G. Robinson as "The Hatchet Man"

Films of this genre have influenced some of my artwork..

Sexy.. Sultry women of that era
